Softball Game Preview: Pearl City Wolves vs. Lena-Winslow Panthers

For the second straight game, Pearl City will face off against Lena-Winslow. The Wolves will square off against the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pearl City will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Pearl City had just enough and edged out Lena-Winslow 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wolves have posted against the Panthers since May 5, 2022.

Kendra Kuhlemeier spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on four hits and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Isabella Smith was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Jorja Johnson, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Pearl City's win bumped their record up to 17-11. As for Lena-Winslow, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-12.
