After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Idalou, Littlefield was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Muleshoe Mules with a sharp 9-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won 11 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Littlefield has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.1 runs over those games. As for Muleshoe, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Littlefield will face off against rival Roosevelt at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Muleshoe is set to challenge their familiar foe Slaton at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
