There's no place like home for Dayton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Kingwood Park Panthers 4-3. The win was all the more spectacular given the Broncos' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 429th, while the Panthers are ranked 96th).

Dayton's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Kingwood Park, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-3.

Coming up, Dayton will face off against Pasadena at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Kingwood Park, they will take on Porter at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Porter will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Kingwood Park surely won't give up without a fight.
