Soccer Recap: Hersey vs. Wheeling
Hersey's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Wheeling Wildcats by a score of 1-0. The Huskies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.
Hersey's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3-3. As for Wheeling, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2-2.
Hersey will head out to face off against Jacobs at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Wheeling, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Elk Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Wheeling is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season.
