South Stokes dropped down to 4-4 on Thursday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Bishop McGuinness Villains by a score of 3-2. If the Sauras were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Villains when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Bishop McGuinness, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted since August 19, 2024.

Leading Bishop McGuinness to victory were Miah Sumanth and Natalie Ma. Sumanth had nine digs and four aces, while Ma had 23 digs. Sumanth also put up an assist, which was her first of the season.

Coming up, South Stokes will venture away from home to face off against West Stokes at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bishop McGuinness, they will host North Stokes at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
