Twin Peaks Classical Academy had won eight straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they bumped up to 6-0 to make it nine. They really took it to the Nederland Panthers for the full four quarters, racking up a 74-28 win. The game marked the Timberwolves' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Twin Peaks Classical Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from David Bosire, who shot 63% from the field en route to 11 points. The last time Bosire's field goal percentage was this high was back in December of 2024. Jace Specht also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.

Twin Peaks Classical Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds in three consecutive contests.

As for Nederland, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5. The matchup marked their lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Loss or not, Nederland got some senior leadership from Mason Ivey and Indio Koonz. Ivey posted 12 points and five boards, while Koonz had 11 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Hertzfeld, who put up two points in addition to six boards and four steals.

Twin Peaks Classical Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 61-32 win against Ascent Classical Academy Northern Colorado on the 13th. As for Nederland, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 61-44 victory against Two Roads Charter School on the 13th.
