Softball Recap: Gardner Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Gardner can now relate to. They lost 14-0 to the Case Cardinals on Wednesday. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Wildcats were not able to get on the board.

Gardner's defeat dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Case, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Gardner does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Case, they have already played their next matchup, a 14-0 victory against Needham on the 4th.
