Alexandra Albrecht leads Homer to victory over Lawton-Bronson

Recap: Homer Knights vs. Lawton-Bronson Eagles
The Homer Knights lost to the Lawton-Bronson Eagles back in December of 2022, but the Homer Knights didn't allow the Lawton-Bronson Eagles the same satisfaction on Friday. Homer walked away with a 48-37 win over Lawton-Bronson.
Alexandra Albrecht was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 26 points and ten rebounds. Those 26 points set a new season-high mark for her. Jocelyn Hightree was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds.
Homer's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Lawton-Bronson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Homer won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Lutheran-Northeast at 2:30 p.m. on December 16th. Lutheran-Northeast comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Lawton-Bronson is on the road again on Monday and play against St. Mary's at 7:15 p.m. on December 18th. St. Mary's presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Lawton-Bronson in Iowa (St. Mary's is ranked 118th, while Lawton-Bronson is ranked 297th).
