It was a good run, but North Miami unfortunately witnessed the end of their 11-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 60-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Miami Beach Hi-Tides. The Pioneers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hi-Tides apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2020.

Shirpsen Jean continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Miami Beach, putting up 19 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Rebhuhn, who posted 13 points.

North Miami's loss dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Miami Beach, their record is now 8-10.
