Volleyball Recap: Tri-Valley's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

It was a good run, but Tri-Valley unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-match winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dover Crimson Tornadoes. The Scotties were not able to make up for their loss to the Crimson Tornadoes from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 22-25, 25-15, 25-20.

Emma Smith paced Tri-Valley's offense, picking up 11 kills. Smith got some help from Ingrid Dittmar and her 30 assists.

Tri-Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Dover, their win was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-2.

Tri-Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dover, they will take on Miami Trace at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
