Baseball Recap: St. Charles East Find Success

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Charles East). They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the West Aurora Blackhawks 8-6. That's more bragging rights for the Fighting Saints, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Nick Santelli looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Gavin Fuscone was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Andrew Zolna also deserves some recognition as he got his first hits of the season.
