Kodiak faced Colony in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Bears walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Knights. Winning may never get old, but the Bears sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Kodiak pushed their record up to 6-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 20.3 runs over those games. As for Colony, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 16-5-1 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kodiak will host Palmer on Friday. As for Colony, they will be playing at home against Wasilla at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
