Basketball Game Preview: Spring Lions vs. Stratford Spartans

The Spring Lions will face off against the Stratford Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Spring has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with three straight defeats, while Stratford will come in with four straight victories.

On Monday, Spring ended up a good deal behind Porter and lost 36-17. The contest marked the Lions' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Stratford). They strolled past Waller with points to spare last Friday, taking the game 62-44. The Spartans pushed the score to 47-25 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bulldogs cut but never quite recovered from.

Spring's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Stratford, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
