Platte Valley won the last time they faced Valley and things went their way on Friday too. The Broncos blew past the Vikings, posting a 52-10 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Broncos.

Platte Valley's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bryla Bunting, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten steals. The dominant performance also gave Bunting a new career-high in blocks (two). Delaney Uyemura was another key player, putting up 14 points and four steals.

Platte Valley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in eight consecutive games dating back to last season.

Valley's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jazmine Frias, who posted no points along with 12 rebounds and five blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Katherine Orona Aguuilar, who had five points.

Platte Valley's record is now 2-0. As for Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
