Softball Recap: Summit Takes a Loss

Summit lost to Page on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Spartans fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 4-3. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Summit saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paityn Robertson, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Another was Audrey Cathey, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Summit's loss dropped their record down to 15-18. As for Page, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 26-6-1.

Summit does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Page, they will challenge Franklin at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
