Basketball Game Preview: Ross Little Giants vs. Clay Eagles

The Ross Little Giants will head out on the road to challenge the Clay Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ross will be strutting in after a victory while Clay will be coming in after a loss.

On Friday, Ross earned a 55-42 win over Springfield. Given the Little Giants' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 229th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 469th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Clay came up short against Southview on Friday and fell 58-47. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

The victory made it two in a row for Ross and bumps their season record up to 12-8. As for Clay, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.

Ross didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Clay in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 63-58 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ross since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
