Softball Recap: Davis Takes a Loss

Davis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Selah Vikings, falling 21-0.

Davis' loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Selah, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Davis will welcome Eastmont at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season. As for Selah, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ephrata at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.86 runs per game on average), something the Vikings will no doubt try to take advantage of.
