Volleyball Recap: Walkertown Starts off Right with Win over Glenn + How To Watch

Walkertown gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Glenn Bobcats. The victory continues a trend for the Wolfpack in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now won seven in a row.

While Walkertown won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-23, 25-20.

Chloe Isaacs was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 30 assists and three aces. Those 30 assists gave her a new career-high.

Isaacs wasn't the only good server: Walkertown was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Glenn only served seven aces.

Glenn is on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Walkertown will host High Point Central at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Glenn, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Eastern Guilford at 6:00 p.m.
