Meanwhile, Aquinas lost 3-0 to Linfield Christian on Wednesday. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-20, 25-14.

Woodcrest Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 14-16. As for Aquinas, their loss dropped their record down to 12-16.

Woodcrest Christian beat Aquinas 3-1 in their previous meeting back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Royals since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
