Basketball Recap: Navarre Starts Season with Win Against Pine Forest + How To Watch

Navarre took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 77-41 win over the Pine Forest Eagles. This was payback for the Raiders, who suffered a 57-50 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Navarre to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jayden Theriault, who went 6-for-12 to rack up 19 points. Another player making a difference was Jayden Johnson, who shot 60% from the field en route to 14 points.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Navarre will host Fort Walton Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pine Forest, they will welcome West Florida at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
