Soccer Recap: Hazel Park Comes Up Short

Hazel Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 5-0 to the Clawson Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Clawson this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 back in April.

Hazel Park's loss dropped their record down to 2-9-2. As for Clawson, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Hazel Park will face off against Port Huron at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clawson, they will head out to square off against Bishop Foley at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Clawson will be up against Bishop Foley's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.5 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
