            Baseball Recap: Cleveland Clippers vs. Sleepy Eye Indians        
        
		
        
        
            The Cleveland Clippers came up short against the Sleepy Eye Indians on Tuesday and fell  8-5. The loss was the Clippers' first of the season.
  Brennan Kortuem was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.  Braeden Smith also deserves some recognition as  he  snagged his first  stolen base of the season.
Having lost for the first time  this season, Cleveland  fell to 5-1. As for Sleepy Eye, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record  this season.
 Cleveland wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  matchup,  a  5-1  loss against New Ulm Cathedral on the 15th. As for Sleepy Eye, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  10-5  victory against Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman on the 15th.
