Soccer Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Neosho Wildcats. Central were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Neosho apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Neosho, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, Central is taking a road trip to take on Webb City at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Central's defense better be ready for this one: Webb City have averaged an impressive 4.2 goals per game this season. As for Neosho, they will square off against Glendale at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Glendale will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Neosho surely won't give up without a fight.
