Colchester gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They blew past the Milton Yellowjackets 54-12. The Lakers haven't had any issues with the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Colchester and Milton will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Lakers are set to square off against their familiar foe St. Johnsbury Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Milton will face off against rival Spaulding at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
