While Normandy might've come up empty on Tuesday, Ava Ramirez wasn't going down without a fight. Despite the loss, Ramirez was still locked in as she struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk).

Even though Ramirez couldn't lead Normandy over Elyria, she won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
