Softball Recap: Snowflake Takes a Loss

After flying high against Tuba City on Tuesday, Snowflake came back down to earth. The Lobos took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sahuarita Mustangs on Friday. The Lobos have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Snowflake saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kloe Burden, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. Riley Perkins was another, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Snowflake's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Sahuarita, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Snowflake has already played their next contest, a 16-2 loss against Empire on the 6th. As for Sahuarita, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-4 defeat against Verrado on the 6th.
