Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Skates Past Coram Deo Academy with Ease

Trinity Christian waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Coram Deo Academy Lions 72-35. Trinity Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 23 points or more this season.

Trinity Christian found their leader in sophomore Lucai Anderson, who went 9 for 19 on his way to 23 points in addition to seven boards and five assists. Anderson's evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jett Mccasland, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 14 points and three steals.

Trinity Christian's victory bumped their record up to 15-12. As for Coram Deo Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-13.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Southwest Christian School the next time they take the court. Coram Deo Academy will host Southwest Christian School at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Trinity Christian will host them at 7:30 p.m. on January 24th.
