Baseball Recap: Eight Straight Road Wins for Chewelah

Almira-Coulee-Hartline typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Chewelah proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 9-4.

The team relied heavily on Makai Masuda, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Nolan Jeanneret was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Chewelah's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Almira-Coulee-Hartline, their defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-2.

Chewelah and Almira-Coulee-Hartline should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings.
