Soccer Recap: Myrtle Beach Comes Up Short

Myrtle Beach's game on Thursday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Ashley Ridge Swamp Foxes by a score of 2-1. Yarin Bouskila was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Myrtle Beach's goal came courtesy of Juan Rivera, who's now up to eight this season.

Myrtle Beach's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Ashley Ridge, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Coming up, Myrtle Beach will take on Carolina Forest at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Ashley Ridge, they will face off against James Island at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
