Basketball Recap: Woodstock North Takes a Loss

Woodstock North lost against Rockford Christian back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Woodstock North Thunder had to suffer through a 67-34 loss at the hands of the Rockford Christian Royal Lions. While losing is never fun, the Thunder can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 622nd, while the Royal Lions are ranked third).

This is the second loss in a row for Woodstock North and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Rockford Christian, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Woodstock North will take on Rochelle in a tournament on Monday. Rockford Christian will take on Marengo in a holiday battle at at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
