Baseball Recap: Clinton Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Clinton Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 10-0 to the Riverfield Academy Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, with their most recent loss being a 18-0 defeat on Thursday.

Clinton Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Riverfield Academy, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-3.

Clinton Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-4 defeat against Jackson HomeSchool on the 7th. As for Riverfield Academy, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Tri-County Academy at 6:00 p.m. on the 15th. The Rebels will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something the Raiders surely won't give up without a fight.
