Basketball Recap: Peters Township Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

South Fayette typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Peters Township proved too difficult a challenge. They snuck past the South Fayette Lions with a 52-47 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 62-50 back in January.

Peters Township is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.1 points per game. As for South Fayette, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-7.

Peters Township will welcome Chartiers Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for South Fayette, they are taking a road trip to square off against Trinity at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. South Fayette is facing Trinity at the right time seeing as Trinity is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
