Nelson is 8-1 against Gresham since May of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Nelson will host Gresham at 5:00 p.m. Nelson's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so Gresham's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Nelson headed into their last contest having not scored more than two runs for four straight, but David Douglas let them put that streak behind them. Nelson put the hurt on David Douglas with a sharp 19-3 win on Thursday. Nelson hasn't had any issues with David Douglas recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Gresham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They fell 8-5 to Reynolds.

Gresham's loss dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Nelson, their win bumped their record up to 12-13.

Nelson got the 'W' when the teams last played back in April against Gresham by a conclusive 9-2 score. Does Nelson have another victory up their sleeve, or will Gresham turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
