Football Recap: Ossining Takes a Loss

After soaring to 31 points the game before, Ossining was a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. They took a blow against the Arlington Admirals, falling 33-6.

Leading Arlington to victory were Gianna Martin and Chase Harris. Martin gained 127 total yards and three touchdowns, while Harris rushed for 66 yards and one score on only eight carries. What's more, Martin racked up 112 rushing yards, the most she's had since April 2nd.

Ossining's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Arlington, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-5.

Arlington has already played their next game, a 19-12 victory against Wappinger on the 2nd. Hopefully Ossining paid attention to the Admirals' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Admirals at 4:30 p.m. on the 8th.
