Softball Game Preview: Analy Tigers vs. Encinal Jets

The Analy Tigers will challenge the Encinal Jets at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Analy has given up an average of 9.2 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Analy came up short against Archie Williams on Tuesday, falling 15-2. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bella Jurek made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Sonoma Valley hit Encinal with a seven-run fifth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Jets fell just short of the Dragons by a score of 9-8.

Sherrielyn Ferrer and Isabella Hernandez stepped up to the plate in a big way. Ferrer went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI, while Hernandez went 2-for-3 with two runs.

Analy's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Encinal, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.
