Baseball Recap: Kearny Takes a Loss

Kearny was the 6-2 winner over Canyon Hills when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Komets fell just short of the Rattlers by a score of 3-2 on Thursday.

Kearny saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jovan Rodriguez, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI.

Kearny's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Canyon Hills, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-13-2.

Coming up, Kearny will venture away from home to take on Francis Parker at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Canyon Hills, they will host High Tech SD at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
