Volleyball Game Preview: Regina Dominican Panthers vs. Ridgewood Rebels

The Regina Dominican Panthers will head out to take on the Ridgewood Rebels at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Regina Dominican will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Regina Dominican was able to grind out a solid win over North Shore Country Day, taking the game 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Regina Dominican took both sets by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Ridgewood came up short against Riverside-Brookfield last Tuesday and fell 2-0. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Ridgewood may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 17 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-17.

Regina Dominican's victory bumped their record up to 15-11. As for Ridgewood, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-5.

Regina Dominican couldn't quite get it done against Ridgewood in their previous meeting back in August as they fell 2-0. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
