Clinton has gone 8-2 against Scott recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Clinton Dragons will head out to square off against the Scott Highlanders at 6:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Clinton is headed into the match having just posted their biggest victory since December 6, 2024 on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 57-30 win over Cumberland Gap. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Dragons.

Meanwhile, Scott was able to grind out a solid victory over Gibbs on Tuesday, taking the game 67-55. Given the Highlanders' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 86th, while the Eagles are ranked 286th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Scott is also on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Clinton, their win bumped their record up to 5-11.

Clinton came up short against Scott in their previous meeting last Tuesday, falling 54-46. Can Clinton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
