The Stansbury Stallions took a hard 56-37 fall against the Hillcrest Huskies on Friday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Stallions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-43 back in December of 2024.

Stansbury's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tegan Johnson, who posted four points in addition to 12 rebounds and three blocks. Porter Hinton was another key player, putting up nine points.

Thomas Ashby was nothing short of spectacular for Hillcrest: he scored 20 points and three steals. Those three steals gave Ashby a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Josh Pike, who had 12 points.

Stansbury's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-14. As for Hillcrest, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-6.

Stansbury will challenge Murray at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Murray will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Stansbury surely won't give up without a fight.
