Dixie has gone a perfect 3-0 against GREEN Upstate recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Hornets will challenge the Owls at 7:00 p.m. Dixie will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

Dixie took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Abbeville, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Hornets narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Panthers 3-2.

While Dixie might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Abbeville scored at least nine points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-22, 22-25, 19-25, 15-9.

Meanwhile, GREEN Upstate posted their closest win since October 17, 2024 on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Thornwell. The Owls haven't had any issues with the Saints recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

GREEN Upstate took Thornwell into a fifth set where they got it done with a nine-point win. The final score came out to 13-25, 25-18, 25-23, 20-25, 15-6.

Dixie's victory bumped their record up to 11-5. As for GREEN Upstate, their win bumped their record up to 13-3.

Dixie took their victory against GREEN Upstate in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hornets since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
