Basketball Recap: Oneida Baptist Institute Takes a Loss

Oneida Baptist Institute was the 43-40 winner over June Buchanan when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Oneida Baptist Institute Mountaineers were just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 42-41 to the June Buchanan Crusaders. The Mountaineers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Oneida Baptist Institute's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for June Buchanan, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-8.

Oneida Baptist Institute will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Jackson City at 6:00 p.m. Oneida Baptist Institute is facing Jackson City at the right time seeing as Jackson City is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for June Buchanan, they will take on Lee County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
