Volleyball Game Preview: Flower Mound Jaguars vs. Coppell Cowboys

Flower Mound is on a seven-game streak of home wins, while Coppell is on a five-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Jaguars will welcome the Cowboys at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

On Friday, Flower Mound got the win against Marcus by a conclusive 3-0.

While Flower Mound won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-14, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Coppell made easy work of Braswell on Friday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-16, 25-12.

Coppell's win came from a few key players Flower Mound will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Emma Pehl, who had eight digs and two aces. She has been hot for a while, having also posted 18 or more assists the last 16 times she's played. Molly Williams was another key player, getting 17 digs and four assists.

Flower Mound's win bumped their record up to 32-7. As for Coppell, their victory bumped their record up to 19-9.
