            The Westerly Bulldogs are taking a road trip to  square off against the Moses Brown Quakers  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Westerly has three straight  wins, Moses Brown has four straight  losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Westerly will bounce into Thursday's   contest after  beating Mt. Hope, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by  a  17-0 margin over the Huskies on Tuesday. Considering the Bulldogs have won three matches by more than five  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.

Westerly got a  massive  performance out of  Jack Zerbarini, who  went 3-for-4 with three  runs, two  doubles,  and one  stolen base. Those  three  hits gave  Zerbarini a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Zack Miner, who  got on base  in all four of his plate appearances with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  double.
 Westerly  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .543. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mt. Hope only posted  an  OBP of  .304.
Meanwhile, Moses Brown fell victim to Barrington and their airtight pitching crew  on Wednesday. They lost  7-0 to the Eagles. The  game marked the first time this season in which the Quakers were not able to get on the board.
 Moses Brown also got a good showing from  Adrian Lund, who   pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits.
 Moses Brown now  has a losing record of 4-5. As for Westerly, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.
