Basketball Recap: Morris Knolls Golden Eagles vs. Morris Catholic Crusaders
On Saturday, Morris Knolls was beaten by the Crusaders 76-22. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Morris Knolls has scored all season.
Mya Pauldo was her usual excellent self, scoring 28 points along with seven steals and five assists for Morris Catholic. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Pauldo has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Mia Pauldo, who scored 13 points along with two blocks.
Morris Knolls' defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Morris Catholic, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 19-0.
Morris Knolls will be playing in front of their home fans against the Marauders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mount Olive is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Morris Catholic, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Lancers at 4:00 p.m. on February 4th.
