Baseball Recap: Hialeah Thoroughbreds vs. Coral Shores Hurricanes

Hialeah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coral Shores Hurricanes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hurricanes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 last Friday.

Alex Perez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-4. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024. Kamari Small also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Hialeah's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Coral Shores, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hialeah will host iMater Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Coral Shores, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
