Volleyball Recap: Mitchell Comes Up Short

Mitchell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the McCook Bison.

Mitchell's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for McCook, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Mitchell and McCook will both be playing Kearney the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face the Bearcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Bison will play them later in the day, at 8:00 p.m.
