Capitol posted their closest win since December 13, 2024 on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons 59-57. The Lions didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this win makes it their second in a row.

Capitol's victory bumped their record up to 7-13. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, the loss snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 8-6 record.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Capitol Lions take on the Glen Oaks Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Live Oak at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
