It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but North Johnston had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Farmville Central Jaguars a 5-0 shutout. Considering North Johnston have won seven matches by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Farmville Central with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sydney Daughtry (3), Yarexi Velasquez, and Destiny Woodall.

North Johnston's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 47 goals over those eight games.
