Volleyball Recap: Olive Branch Takes a Loss

After flying high against Independence last Thursday, Olive Branch came back down to earth. The Conquistadors fell just short of the Saltillo Tigers by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Conquistadors have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Olive Branch now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Saltillo, they pushed their record up to 9-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Olive Branch is set to challenge their familiar foe South Panola at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Saltillo will take on rival Center Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
