Basketball Recap: Tayt Miller Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Valley

Panguitch won the last time they faced Valley and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Panguitch Bobcats walked away with a 48-36 victory over the Valley Buffalos. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.

Panguitch's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tayt Miller, who went 7-for-14 to rack up 15 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. Thanks to that strong game, Miller now owns an excellent 45.3% shooting accuracy. Mallory Henrie was another key player, putting up two points along with 15 boards and eight assists.

Panguitch smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 14 offensive boards in three consecutive games.

Panguitch's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.

Coming up, Panguitch will take on Escalante in a tournament on February 13th. Panguitch is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.4 points per game this season. As for Valley, they have already played their next match, a 45-27 victory against Piute on the 6th.
